Is the app available for my phone?

The app is available on Android and iOS.

I haven’t received the confirmation email to connect and create a profile. What should I do?

If you haven’t received the email, please check your spams and connectivity to internet. If you still haven’t received a the email, you connect by clicking on “Setup a password” to connect with a password.

I can’t access the casting list, what should I do?

If you can’t find the casting on the app, please close and relaunch the app. It’s like a refresh on a website :). If you see castings but don’t , go through the casting list and apply to the ones that correspond to your profile!

Has my application been sent?

On the casting list, click on the casting. If the button has the mention “APPLIED!”, it means you have applied successfully!

When do I get new from the castings I apply to?

We receive hundreds of applications every day so we can only get back to you if you are preselected by the client. The casting appears as “Closed” when the client has made her/his selection.

The app is asking me for a TestFlight code, how can I get it?

It means that you were a beta user. We used Testflight to share the app before it went public on the app store. This beta version is now closed. Please uninstall the app and download it again.

I have a problem that is not listed above or that I couldn’t overcome. What should I do?

How does the app work?

The app allows you to connect with photographers if you are a model and vice versa. It also allows you to directly apply to our castings. Once you apply, your application is preselected based upon the quality of your portfolio. If you make it through that screening, your profile is then directly sent to the client! We may reach out to you if we need more information. We will get back to you only if you are preselected by the client.

I’ve created an account, what should I do next?

After creating your account, you can like portfolios in the “Discovery” tab. If the profile you liked likes you back, you will then be added to each other’s “Talent pool” and you will be able to discuss a collaboration together! Remember the importance on constantly updating your portfolio to increase your chances to win castings.

How often do we publish new castings?

We are very selective with the brands we work with: the brands need to be “mindful” i.e. to take action towards environmental and/or social issues. We also pay close attention to the rates that the brands are offering. Try not to work for too cheap, it is harmful to your industry and peers! How do I improve my chances to get selected for a job?

The first thing is to make sure you correspond to the description in the casting. Then, you need a strong and complete portfolio. The more high quality pictures you have, the more chances you get. Make sure you read this article and watch that video series!

What happens if I get selected for a job?

If so, congrats! We will ask you to provide some administrative documents like a copy of your ID, you social security number, your RIB/IBAN and a copy of a medical certificate. You will need to have sent all these documents to get paid. We then put you in touch with the client who will send you a callsheet as well as the relevant contracts. Make sure you sign the contract before you start working.

When do you get paid?

You get paid within 30 days maximum after the photoshoot. If you haven’t sent all the necessary documents, your payment might be delayed.

For copy rights fees, please refer to the image release contract you have to sign with the customer.

How much do I get paid?

The rates we indicate on the casting calls correspond to the money you will be getting (before taxes or potential banking fees) after our commission has happened. Hence, you know exactly how much you will get. This rate includes all the author and image rights associated with the performance. It’s your responsibility to make sure the contracts are fair and duly signed.

What do I do in case of litigations?

We encourage you to find a solution with the customer first. If your performance and profile are not true to the tangible aspects of the brief sent by the customer, she/he will have the right to refuse to use your work and to pay for your performance. On the other side, it is your right to refuse a contract for which the terms are not fair to you before you accept the job. Any abuse on either part will be punished by a definitive ban on our platform.
